Green Camera Column Canjed Video Security® Green Camera Column is designed to provide outdoors monitoring and surveillance capabilities in sites where grid connection is either unavailable or too expensive. The Green Camera Column could be equipped with one or more Wireless Internet Gateway Cameras or conventional wireless surveillance cameras. Canjed Video Security® Green Camera Column uses a combination of a small wind turbine and solar power cell(s) to provide the power needed for the cameras to operate. It is an environmentally friendly design and completely independent-it doesn't need any grid connection so there's no need to dig up roads, sidewalks or soil. In addition there's no on-going power costs. Canjed Video Security® Green Camera Column containes the following components: 6 metre (~ 20ft) steel pole Windcharger Solar Panel and controller Wireless Internet Gateway Cameras or conventional wireless surveillance cameras (installed 5 metres off the ground) Batteries (trickle charged by both windcharger and solar panel(s)   The above components have been carefully selected and matched. Each of the components have been tested and used in other applications.
